After successful completion of B.E. Mechanical Engineering Program students will be able to:


Engineering Knowledge

Acquire and apply fundamental knowledge of mathematics, science and mechanical engineering principles.


Problem analysis

Identify, formulate, review literature and analyze mechanical engineering problems in order to get the desired solution using first principles of mathematics, natural science and engineering science.


Design/ Development of solutions

Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science and mechanical engineering fundamentals in designing and evaluating system components, processes and systems related to mechanical engineering to meet the specified needs.


Conduct Investigation of Complex Problems

Use research based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.


Modern Tool usage

Select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern mechanical engineering software and tools for modeling engineering activities with understanding of the limitations..


Engineer and society

Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the mechanical engineering.


Environment and sustainability  

Understand the impact of the professional engineering solution in environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge of and need for sustainable development.
